Biography
Elatha Weems is the inspirational author of the best selling women's inspirational book "Don’t Settle for Less", born in Stockbridge, Georgia. The only child raised by her influential grandparents (both of whom inspired Elatha to go after her dreams).
A graduate of Stockbridge High School, later serving in the armed forces (Army). The military was a deemed unique experience for women at the time, it that taught her many things about the obstacles of career, life, love, and relationships while serving.
After her stint in the military she attended Clayton Junior College (Clayton State College) where she was able to learn how navigate through life, business, and develop her skills in music (songwriting), poetry, and becoming an author to tell her unique stories. A child of God, and she strives to live by his word.
Elatha's "Don't Settle For Less" is her debut literary project, to her credit she's written over 180 poems and approximately 30+ gospel / inspirational songs, and one stage play.
Writing books, poetry, songs, and developing greeting cards for all occasions she contends that "it's really therapeutic and cathartic to write.

However, she wrote her latest book because she felt that the women of today were in need of truly understanding developing a successful love & relationship with their partner and understanding that failed relationships is not he end.
